This calendar helps identify some of the important days of commemoration, however it isn’t designed to be a complete listing of religious days. Students and staff from a particular faith background may or may not be absent from school on these special days. If they do attend school or work, certain accommodations may be required.</span></p><br></span><br></span><p><br></p>

Terry Fox Run Fox Run<p>​<a href="/PublishingImages/Lists/LocalNews/AllItems/TerryFoxRun2019.pdf"><img class="ms-asset-icon ms-rtePosition-4" src="/_layouts/15/images/icpdf.png" alt="" />TerryFoxRun2019.pdf</a><br></p><p>ANNUAL TERRY FOX RUN </p><p>Severn Shores’ 4th Annual Terry Fox Run will take place on Friday, September 20, 2019. We are asking that each student participate in our fundraising campaign and bring in a “Toonie for Terry”. $2 per student will raise nearly $800 for the Terry Fox Foundation. Or goal is to raise $2000 (last year we raised $1800). More substantial donations can be given using the pledge forms or the online tool detailed on the form attached above. Participants will have the chance to win prizes upon completion of the run. </p><p>Junior and Intermediate students will run in the community around our school. It will begin at 11:40am. </p><p>Kindergarten and Primary Run will take place in the school yard from 10:00am-10:50am </p><p>This is an outdoor event. Students are encouraged to bring water, sunscreen, appropriate running footwear and clothing. </p><p>***** Rain date: Monday, September 23, 2019 *****<br></p>
